Renaissance Corporation appoints Donovan Smith as Chief Financial Officer

Renaissance Corporation Ltd has appointed Donovan Smith to the position of Chief Financial Officer, effective 24 January 2013.

Smith originally joined Renaissance Corporation in 2010 and has held a number of senior finance and management roles within the group.

Prior to immigrating to New Zealand in 2008, Smith was a member of the South African Institute of Professional Accountants. He has over 15 years financial and management experience across a range of industries including mining with both De Beers Consolidated Mines and Rio Tinto, large scale electrical equipment service and maintenance provision; as a partner in a public accounting practice in South Africa and senior roles with a New Zealand public practice
